How to Track a Key Fob

1. Sit in your car's driver's seat with your keyless remote and ignition key. Insert the key into the vehicle's ignition.
2. Turn the ignition key to the 'Run' position -- and then back to the 'Off' position -- eight times within 10 seconds.
3. End the eighth turn of the key in the 'Run' position. Wait for the locks to automatically click after the last turn.
4. Press and hold the 'Lock' or 'Unlock' button on your remote within 20 seconds. Hold the button for 20 seconds.
5. Release the button once the door locks click again. The signifies completion of the programming.
