How to Reset the Oil Engine Light on a BMW X5 2003

1. Insert the key into the ignition. Do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the odometer reset button. Turn the key to the 'ACC' position. Do not go past this position.
3. Release the odometer reset button when 'OILSERVICE' appears on the display.
4. Press and hold the odometer reset button until 'OILSERVICE' starts to blink.
5. Press and release the odometer reset button to reset the oil light. 'END SIA' appears on the display after a few seconds to confirm the reset was successful.
