How to Change Audi TT Transmission Fluid

1. Drive the car for about 10 minutes to warm up the fluid and make it easier to drain it completely. Park the car on a level surface, set the parking brake and use the jack to jack the front of the car off of the ground.
2. Crawl underneath of the engine compartment and locate the large, square transmission pan right next to the car's driveshaft. On the center of the bottom of the transmission pan is the drain plug. Use the Audi bit mounted in the socket wrench to remove the plug.
3. Allow all of the transmission fluid to drain into the drain pan, then replace the drain plug. On the driver's side corner of the transmission will be the transmission fill hole. Remove the plug filling the hole with the Audi bit and then insert the plastic tube from the fluid pump into the hole.
4. Pump 3 qt. of oil into the transmission and then replace the filler hole plug. Lower the car off of the jack and test drive it.
