How to Reset a BMW Key

1. Unlock your BMW using the metal key.
2. Place the key in the ignition.
3. Turn the key to the 'On' position.
4. Turn the key to the 'Off' position.
5. Remove the key from the ignition.
6. Press and hold the 'Unlock' button on your key.
7. Press the 'Lock' button on the key three times. Your key is now reset and should function properly.
