How to Install Audi Window Tint Kits

1. Create a dish soap mix in a spray bottle with one part dish soap to two parts water. Clean the interiors of the windows with the solution by spraying it on the windows and removing it with a squeegee.
2. Lay tint film over the clean interior side of the window, matching up the edges of the film with those of the window. Smooth the tint film on the windows, using your hands to work the air bubbles out.
3. Hold a blow dryer in your non-dominant hand and grip a plastic card in the other hand. An old credit will work, or you can purchase a plastic card with your tint kit. Slowly apply heat to the film and smooth the film from the center outward toward the edge of the windows. Hold the blow dryer six to 12 inches from the window.
4. Tuck the film into the window linings using a bone tool. This is a plastic stick that looks like a pen with both ends flat. Pry it between the window and the lining and pull back on the lining to lift it from the glass. Smooth the surface around the linings by continuing to add heat to the film and smoothing around the linings with the plastic card.
