How to Program an Audi Key Fob

1. Insert the key that you do not need to program into the ignition. Turn the key to 'On' but do not start the engine.
2. Insert the key that you need to program into the driver's side door lock.
3. Press the 'Unlock' button on the key in the door lock. Unlock is symbolized by an unlocked padlock image. The lights will flash after you do this.
4. Press the 'Unlock' button on the key in the door lock again.
5. Press the 'Lock' button on the key in the door lock. This button is symbolized by a locked padlock image.
6. Remove the both keys from their locations.
7. Test the newly programmed key in the ignition. It will start the car if the programming has been done correctly.
