How to Locate a BMW 735i Water Pump

1. Open the hood of the BMW 735i and find the cooling fan blades, just behind the radiator, in the front of the engine compartment.
2. Follow the connecting shaft from the fan blades to the pulley that turns the fan blade via a belt that runs to the crankshaft.
3. Locate the water pump directly behind the fan belt pulley. The impeller inside the water pump is turned by the fan belt, and the water pump has a black rubber hose that runs from the engine block into its top.
