DIY Oil Changes for an Audi A6 3.2

1. Drive the car up on the ramps so that the front is elevated off of the ground and pop the hood open.
2. Remove the front plastic under-tray using the screwdriver to remove each plastic fastener.
3. Locate the black oil pan and drain plug at the driver's side of the oil pan.
4. Position the oil drain underneath the drain plug and unscrew the plug using the 6 millimeter Allen wrench.
5. Go to the engine bay and remove the oil filler cap while the oil drips out of the oil pan. Doing so will help hasten the flow of oil out of the engine and oil pan.
6. Replace the drain plug when all of the oil has drained out of the car. Do not over-tighten the drain plug when you put it back in.
7. Reinstall the plastic under-tray by re-inserting the plastic fasteners into their original location.
8. Place the funnel into the oil filler neck of the engine and begin to slowly pour all 6.5 liters of oil into the engine.
9. Replace the oil filler neck cap when you are done pouring all of the oil in, then shut your hood.
