How to Replace a Mercedes C Blower Motor


1. Lift up the hood of the vehicle and use a socket wrench to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Open the passenger-side door. Remove the three screws securing the kick panel underneath the glove box. Remove the kick panel.
3. Remove the five screws securing the blower to the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the blower's electrical connector and remove it from the vehicle.
5. Pull the motor from the blower assembly and install a replacement motor.
6. Reattach the blower assembly to the vehicle and reinstall the five screws. Reconnect the blower's electrical connector.
7. Reattach the kick panel and its screws and reconnect the battery. Close the hood.
