How to Remove an Overhead Console on a BMW 325ci

1. Locate the panel for the overhead console. It is in the front of the ceiling, located between the two sun visors. The panel is square shaped and the lights and switches are located near the front of it, close to the windshield.
2. Insert a flat screwdriver into the seam towards the rear of the console and gently pry the console out. Move the screwdriver several times to pry the console out at least 1/4 inch. Don't just pry in one place or that spot may become damaged.
3. Use your fingers to pull the console panel off completely. Unplug the wiring from the backs of the switches and lights. The console is now free.
