How to Remove the Audi Rear View Mirror

1. Roll down the window on the driver's side before turning off your car. Disconnect all the cables on the battery of your car to avoid electrocution.
2. Insert your pry tool right around the trim edges on your car's inside door panel in order to fully release the trim. Take out all the screws holding the Audi's interior door panel using your screwdriver. Lift the door panel carefully once all the screws and trim have been removed.
3. Remove the bolts that are used to hold your Audi's rear view mirror in place using your socket wrench. Take off the mirror assembly from the side of your car once you have removed all the bolts.
4. Remove the mirror assembly's screws and use your screwdriver to pry off the two tabs found at the back section of your assembly. Remove the glass mirror to separate it from the rest of your assembly.
