How to Install a BMW Wind Deflector

1. Open up the sunroof on your BMW completely. Take a mounting bracket, and slip it in between the roof of the BMW and the sunroof frame on the driver's side. Install another mounting bracket on the passenger side.
2. Take a small, soft cloth and pour a small amount of alcohol into the cloth. Use the cloth to clean the bottom edge of the wind deflector.
3. Apply the rubber seal strip to the bottom edge of the wind deflector. If there is any excess, carefully trim it off using scissors.
4. Place the wind deflector on the roof using the holes in the mounting brackets to line up the deflector properly. Insert screws into the mounting bracket.
5. Thread the nuts on to each screw, and tighten them using a screwdriver.
