How to Replace 1996 BMW 328i Cyclops Brake Lights

1. Locate the square panel that looks like a vent on the rear parcel shelf of the 328i. Pry the panel off with the flat-head screwdriver to access the lightbulb holder.
2. Reach into the compartment and grasp the bulb holder. Remove the bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Remove the bulb from the holder and replace it with a new bulb. Reinsert the bulb holder into the compartment and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
4. Replace the compartment cover.
