How do I Troubleshoot the BMW 745 Bluetooth?

1. Refer to the list of BMW approved Bluetooth phones. Only phones approved by BMW are fully compatible with its Bluetooth system. If your phone is not on the list, it may still work, but with limited functionality.
2. Set your phone to pairing mode to connect it to your BMW. Refer to your phone's manual for specific instructions on how to do so, as the process will vary by make and model, but it must be set to pair mode with Bluetooth enabled for it to be recognized by your BMW.
3. Check the 'Bluetooth communication active' check-box in the Bluetooth Settings menu on your BMW. If this box is not checked, you will not be able to connect to Bluetooth devices.
