How to Remove the Radio in a BMW 325

1. Turn off the engine and open the trunk. Peel back the carpet liner and disconnect your negative battery cable with the pliers.
2. Insert a trim panel tool into the side of the A/C control panel beneath the radio. Use the tool to pry off one side, and then work your way to the other side. Pull off the control. Unplug the electrical connection on the rear.
3. Remove the two Phillips screws from the bottom of the radio. Pull the radio toward you; it's attached to a metal bracket. Unplug the antenna and wiring harness on the radio's rear.
4. Remove the four Torx screws from the radio bracket. This will release the radio from its mount. Slide the radio away from the bracket.
