Audi Display Instructions

1. Park the car as soon as possible if you see the 'Engine Coolant Temp.' light on the display. This light looks like a flag with two wavy lines below. Check the temperature gauge on the left side of the instrument panel to see the temperature. If it is high, wait 15 minutes before opening the hood and add coolant.
2. Park the car as soon as possible and turn it off for 10 minutes if the 'Oil Pressure' light appears on the display. When the engine has cooled, open the hood of the car and pull out the oil dipstick. If the oil level is below the 'Fill' line, add a quart and check the level again. If it is still low, you may have a leak in your system.
3. Press the parking brake all the way to the floor until it pops back up when the 'Brake' warning light is seen. If this does not turn the light off, you may have an issue with the pads or the brake themselves and will need to contact a mechanic or Audi dealership.
4. Pull over as soon as possible if you see an indicator that looks like a light with an 'X' through it on the display. This light indicates that either your headlights or taillights are not working properly. Follow the instructions in your user's manual to change the burned out bulbs.
5. Park the car as soon as you can if you see the 'Power' indicator light, which is shaped like a battery on the display. This light means that the battery may be low on power and will need to be charged or replaced before you can safely drive the vehicle again.
