How to Make a 2005 BMW 3 Series Connect to an iPhone

1. Tap the 'Settings' icon on your iPhone then choose the 'General' option. Select 'Bluetooth' then set the switch to the 'ON' position.
2. With your BMW parked, turn the engine on. The BMW's audio system automatically enters pairing mode for the first two minutes after starting the engine.
3. Select 'BMW' from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your iPhone.
4. Enter your iPhone's passkey. The passkey will automatically appear on the display of your BMW's stereo.
