How to Change BMW Run

1. Park the BWM on a level surface and engage the emergency brake. Jack up the car until the tire you need to remove is off the ground.
2. Use an air ratchet to remove the lugs completely, then set them in a safe place where you will not lose them.
3. Remove the tire by slamming the new tire into the current tire like a mallet. The tire on the car will probably be stuck, so you must use another object to loosen it. You can also kick the tire with the sole of your shoe. Be careful not to damage the rims; only kick the tire rubber. The tire should fall off.
4. Use a stiff brush to remove the rust off the round area where the center of the tire was attached.
5. Place the new tire on the car. If you do not have a new rim in the new tire, you will need to get the rim removed from the old tire and put into the new tire at a BMW dealership.
6. Use your air ratchet to screw the lug nuts into the new wheel in a star pattern. Only tighten them enough so the wheel is attached to the car. Start with the lug on the top, then move to the lug directly across from it, then the lug directly across from it until all the lugs are tightened.
7. Release the car jack and lower the car to the ground.
8. Torque the lug nuts to the correct weight. Refer to your owner's manual for the correct torque level. It will depend on the size and model of your BMW. Remember to tighten the lug nuts in a star-shaped pattern.
