How to Adjust 2003 Audi A4 Headlights

1. Park your Audi A4 so that it is 25 feet away from a closed garage door or flat wall.
2. Turn on the headlights and shine them onto the wall or door.
3. Open the hood and locate the two adjustment screws on the top of the headlights. There will be two mounting screws directly on top of the headlight assembly. About 1 to 2 inches behind the mounting screws, you will find the adjustment screws--one on each side of the top of the housing assembly.
4. Turn the adjustment screws until the center of the headlight beams are directly in front of the A4 and positioned at the bottom of the garage door or wall where the door or wall meets the ground. The center of the headlight beam should be at the bottom of the garage door for the vertical adjustment. For the lateral adjustment, the beams should overlap by approximately 50 percent, and should sit directly in front of the A4.
