How to Turn the Traction Control on a 1998 BMW 740i

1. Turn your 740i's ignition on so that the engine is idling and on, the traction control will turn on automatically when the engine has been started.
2. Push the 'ASC+T/DSC' button below your radio to deactivate the traction control. An indicator lamp will light up on your dashboard to show that it has been deactivated.
3. Press the 'ASC+T/DSC' button again to re-activate and turn on the traction control.
