How to Remove the Dash on an Audi C5


1. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable with a crescent wrench. Remove the airbag fuses from the fuse panel by locating them on the diagram inside and removing them with the fuse puller.
2. Pry off the lower dash panels on both the driver's side and the passenger's side of the dashboard. Use a flathead screwdriver to do this.
3. Remove the screws underneath these panels with Allen wrenches.
4. Open up the glove box and remove the visible Allen screws around the edge of the glove box. Use Allen wrenches to do this. Slide the glove box out of the dash.
5. Remove the screws around the glove box opening in the dash with Allen wrenches.
6. Pull up on the dash and slide it out the passenger's side door.
