How to Improve Mercedes Performance

1. Insert the key into the ignition of the car and turn the engine on. Keep your car in park while you test the performance enhancement system.
2. Locate the air brake switch in the center console. The switch is situated in the middle of the console, just below the air vent.
3. Slide the switch into the 'Test' position -- then release the switch and allow it to slide into the neutral position. Have a friend watch the brake lights from outside of the car to ensure the test was performed. The brake lights should light up during the test.
4. Turn the switch into the upward, 'Manual' position which will initialize the brake until you turn it off yourself. This mode is useful in situations when you can do with gaining extra stability but the overall agility of the vehicle can be sacrificed.
5. Move the air brake switch into the sideways, 'Automatic' position to start the auto mode. When you drive at speeds above 60 mph the system will self initiate and when your speed reduces the system will automatically shut down.
6. Set your performance system to 'Automatic' or 'Manual' when you will be driving in poor conditions above the speed of 60 mph. The brake system will automatically initiate an extreme angle to help assist braking in an emergency.
7. Check the distributor on older models to make sure that the hose and tube connections are secure.
