How to Adjust a 2003 Mercedes E500#039;s Heating System
1. Press the '0' button in the center of the climate control cluster to turn the climate control system on or off.
2. Press the red arrow on the left side to increase the temperature on the driver side of the vehicle.
3. Press the red arrow on the right side to increase the temperature for the front passenger.
4. Press the blue arrows on the left or right to decrease the driver and passenger side temperatures, respectively.
5. Press the large fan button to the right of the '0' button to increase the airflow from the vents.
6. Press the small fan button to the left of the '0' button to decrease the airflow from the vents.
7. Use the control knob on the far left to adjust where the air is coming from on the driver side. The up arrow aims the air at the windows, the right arrow aims the air at the driver, the down arrow aims the air at your feet and the up and down arrow uses all vents.
8. Use the control knob on the far right to adjust where the air comes from for the front passenger.
9. Press the rear seat button located to the right of the large fan button to set the temperature for rear seat passengers. Rear passengers also have a climate control interface that they can adjust located on the center armrest.
