How to Take the Console Out of the 1990 Audi 80

1. Open the Audi's console lid. At the bottom of the console, you'll find two bolts. Remove them with a socket wrench. Keep the bolts in a safe place for later reassembly.
2. Examine the bottom of the cup holder, located on the front edge of the center console. Remove the two Phillips screws holding it in place.
3. Slide open the small storage compartment directly behind the Audi's gear shift panel. Remove the Phillips screw from the storage compartment.
4. Grasp the sides of the console and pull it straight up to remove it from the floorboard. Lift the console out of the Audi 80.
