How to Replace the Wiper Blades on a 1997 E420

1. Pull the wiper arm away from the windshield of your Mercedes-Benz to make sure that you do not damage the windshield while replacing the wiper blades.
2. Rotate the wiper and locate the mounting clips at the top pivot of the wiper blade.
3. Press down on the mounting clip lock pin to release the old wiper blade. Discard the wiper blade once it has been removed from the wiper arm.
4. Slide the new wiper blade into place until the appropriate holes line up. Once the holes line up you can release the lock pin to secure the wiper blade into place. Make sure you hear a click to secure the wiper blade.
5. Repeat this process with all the wipers that need to be replaced.
