How to Change the Blower Motor on a 1990 Audi 100

1. Pop your Audi's hood and remove its negative battery cable.
2. Open your Audi's passenger door and then open the glove box. Remove the items inside your glove box and then use a screwdriver to slide the glove box hinges off their track until the glove box hangs straight down.
3. Reach through the opening behind your glove compartment and unplug the plastic wiring harness from your Audi 100's blower motor.
4. Use your socket set to remove the two retaining bolts that hold your Audi's blower motor in place and then pull the old motor out.
5. Place your Audi's new blower motor in and install the two retaining bolts. Also, plug the wiring harness into the new blower motor.
6. Replace your Audi's glove box and its contents and then hook your negative battery cable back up with the socket set.
