How to Remove BMW Emblems on a R1200C

1. Insert a 1-inch putty knife between the BMW emblem and the fuel tank on the R1200C motorcycle.
2. Gently pry upward around the emblem until it lifts away. Take care not to scratch the finish of your motorcycle. The emblem attaches to the fuel tank with two prongs that fit into two rubber grommets on the fuel tank.
3. Grasp the grommets with needle-nose pliers and pull to remove. Set the grommets aside.
