How to Change a Mercedes Cabin Filter

1. Open the cover of the glove compartment on the passenger side of the car's cabin. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew and remove all six screws you see inside the glove compartment. After the screws are removed, you will be able to slide out the inside lining of the glove compartment.
2. Reach your hand into the opening in the back of the hollow of the glove compartment. Move your hand to the right and grasp the old air filter. Bring the filter over to the center of the opening, and pull the filter straight out of the compartment.
3. Discard the old filter, and remove the replacement filter from its packaging. Insert the new filter back into the opening in the glove compartment from where you removed the old filter.
4. Replace the lining, the screws, and the cover of the glove compartment by following Steps 1-2 in reverse order.
