Replacing a BMW 535I Cabin Air Filter

1. Open the glove compartment. Remove the screws on each side of the glove compartment.
2. Remove the glove compartment door from the dash.
3. Open the cup holder tray inside the glove compartment.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the tray in place. Remove the cup holder tray.
5. Turn the knob covering the cabin air filter compartment counter-clockwise to open the compartment.
6. Pull the old filter out of the filter compartment.
7. Slide the new cabin air filter into the filter compartment.
8. Turn the knob clockwise to close the cabin air filter compartment.
9. Replace the cup holder tray and the two screws that hold it in place.
10. Replace the glove compartment door. Replace the two screws that hold it in place.
