How to Replace the Signal Light on a BMW

1. Turn on the engine, and engage the signal lights. This will allow you to see which bulb is broken and requires a replacement.
2. Use the screwdriver to remove the mounting screws that hold the signal light casing in place. The screws can usually be found on the bumper.
3. Detach the connector on the light, which connects the light to the battery terminal. Carefully remove the light from its casing.
4. Remove the bulb socket to reveal the bulb. Unscrew the bulb, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the bulb is firmly locked in place.
5. Reattach the signal light to the vehicle, following the removal steps in reverse. Turn on the engine to check whether the light is now working correctly. If it still does not work, it is likely a wiring problem.
