How to Start a Stored Mercedes

1. Clear a path to the Mercedes if you have a cramped storage area. Make enough room so you can enter the driver's-side door without damaging the car or anything else you have in storage.
2. Engage your seat belt if you plan to drive the vehicle after you start it. Insert your key in the ignition and turn it clockwise. If the Mercedes does not start immediately, it may be a simple problem that can be fixed easily.
3. State a voice command if your Mercedes is one of the models with voice activation. Mercedes was the first car to invest in voice-recognition technology, so if you have a model produced after 1997, you may have that option.
4. Fill the tank with fresh gasoline if your Mercedes does not start after you've utilized the voice command. Your gasoline can degrade if you leave it in the tank for long periods. Use only the grade of fuel your Mercedes Benz requires to run; for example, do not use regular unleaded gas if your car is designed for premium fuel.
