How to Remove the Radio From a 1993 Mercedes

1. Locate the slots in the lower corners of the stereo, by the bottom of the deck. Hold up one of the radio removal keys in your hand. Insert the keys into the slots on the bottom of the deck with the slotted sides pointing toward the middle of the stereo. Push them in place until they make a clicking sound.
2. Pull on the radio removal keys unto the stereo comes out of the dashboard. You may have to pull the deck one side after another depending on how tight your stereo fits in the dashboard.
3. Unplug the wiring harness and antenna lead out of the back of the stereo using your hands, then set the stereo in a safe place in case you want to reinstall it later.
