How to Locate the Battery in a #039;93 Mercedes 400SE

1. Open both rear doors.
2. Pull up on the latch where the bottom of the seat meets the floor.
3. Remove the bolt holding the arm down that secures the battery in place. Move the battery arm out of the way.
4. Slide the battery toward the front of the car so it can be accessed or removed.
