How to Install a BMW Hood Emblem

Remove the Old Emblem
1. Slide the piece of stock paper, slightly under the emblem. If the emblem is not loose enough yet, go on to step 2.
2. Using the screwdriver, lift one side of the emblem at a time, and slide the stock paper under the emblem.
3. Lift the old BMW emblem completely off.
Install the New Emblem
4. Remove the old rubber grommets remaining in the two holes.
5. Place the two new grommets in the holes, and position the emblem over the holes.
6. Press down with your palm from the center of the emblem, locking the emblem into place.
