How Do I Remove the Driver#039;s Side Door Mirror From a C320?

1. Pull off the cover of the inner door panel. The cover mounts to the inner door panel on the opposite side of the mirror mounting.
2. Locate the wiring harness stuffed behind the cover. The harness is comprised of two connectors pushed together. Pull the connectors apart.
3. Remove the three nuts that secure the mirror to the door with a socket and ratchet. Hold the mirror as you remove the final nut.
4. Pull the mirror away from the door and insert the threaded studs of the new mirror through the door.
5. Hold the mirror, while you thread the nuts onto the post, to prevent cross-threading. Tighten the bolts with the socket and ratchet.
6. Push the two connectors back together and stuff the harness back into the sub-frame of the door.
7. Replace the cover onto the inner door panel and snap it into place.
