How Do I Refill a 420SEL Radiator?

1. Open the hood of the car by pulling on the lever next to the emergency brake. Press up on the T-shaped lever under the hood to pop it.
2. Remove the radiator cap. The radiator is located in the very front of the engine. In a 420SEL, the cap is located on the left side of the radiator and will be labeled with 'Engine Coolant.' Twist off the cap and place it where it won't get lost.
3. Slowly pour the antifreeze into the radiator. The radiator should be full of coolant. The container will fill up quickly, so be careful as the fluid rises to the top.
4. Check the reservoir that the radiator is connected to on the left side of the engine. The reservoir will have lines indicating the minimum and maximum amount of fluid that should occupy it. Fill the reservoir with antifreeze to the appropriate level.
