How to Replace an Audi Power Window Motor

1. Loosen and remove the two screws holding the inner door in place on the inside top left and right of the door.
2. Remove the window control latch by inserting a screwdriver into the hole beneath the latch on the underside of the door handle. Press up on the latch and it will pop out. Lift the latch out of the handle and disconnect it from the wiring running into the door.
3. Lift the inner door up and pull away to remove the cover from the door frame. Disconnect the connections going to the latch, the speaker and the car alarm system. You do not need to disconnect the wire going to the door lock.
4. Remove the old motor by loosening and removing the three mounting screws and pulling the motor away from the door.
5. Install the new motor in place by lining it up with the three mounting points and fastening it with screws.
6. Reconnect the latch controls, the speaker and alarm systems, and reinstall the inner door cover. Reconnect the latch and pop it back into the door handle. Fasten the screws in the top left and right of the inner door to hold the cover in place.
7. Power on your car and test that the new motor is functioning properly.
