How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter in a ML320

1. Open your passenger side door. Inspect the area beneath the glove box compartment to find the filter access panel.
2. Grasp the filter access panel and pull it down sharply. The panel is attached by fasteners; a simple tug is required to unhook them. Once the access panel is off, you'll see the filter tray.
3. Unhook the tab from the front of the filter tray. Pull the filter tray cover off and set it to the side. Grab the old filter and carefully pull it down.
4. Slide the new filter up, into the tray. Position the filter tray cover in place; push it up to snap it back on.
5. Position the access panel in place. Push it up firmly to re-attach the fasteners.
