How to Change a Mercedes C320 Cabin Filter

1. Remove the three Phillips screws for the panel located just above the passenger's foot well and beneath the glovebox. Remove the panel.
2. Unscrew the plastic Phillips screw for the ducting panel on left side of the foot well. Remove the ducting panel.
3. Locate the two white clips under the panel. Slide the clips outward to remove the filter cover.
4. Place a towel or something similar on the floor to prevent filter dust and debris from landing on the carpeting.
5. Pull the old filter down and rotate it forward to remove it. Reach up as far as you can into the cabin filter with a rag to remove as much dust as possible. A shop can can also be used to remove more dust.
6. Install the new filter in the opposite of removal. Reinstall the filter cover and slide the clips back in place. Reinstall left hand ducting panel with plastic screw. Reinstall the panel above the foot well area with the three screws.
