How to Install a Stereo in a 2002 Audi Quatro

1. Acquire four Audi stereo DIN keys, available at any local Audi dealer. The keys allow you to unlock the stereo and remove it from the dashboard.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable from your Audi's battery.
3. Slide the DIN keys into the four release slots on the stereo. The slots are located in the four corners of the stereo. Press the keys in until you hear them click. While still putting pressure on the keys, slide the stereo forward and out of the dashboard. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the stereo.
4. Slide the cage included with your after-market stereo into your dash adapter. Bend the tabs on the cage down to lock it into place.
5. Slide your stereo into the cage and dash adapter. Connect the wiring harness and antenna cable to the back of the stereo. All stereos connect differently; refer to your stereo's owner's manual for connection instructions.
6. Slide the stereo and dash adapter into the dashboard. Press it in until you hear it click into place. Reconnect your battery.
