How to Lift an E46 BMW
1. Locate the two jack points on the underside of your E46. The are positioned behind each of the front wheels on the subframe and are designated by circulated rings in the metal.
2. Position the floor jack underneath the jack point and raise the jack to lift the front corner of your E46.
3. Place a jack stand underneath the subframe and lower the floor jack to rest the front corner of the car on the jack stand.
4. Repeat the process on the other side of the front of your E46.
5. Locate the rear jack points, which are positioned in front of the rear wheels on the subframe and also are indicated with circular marks in the metal.
6. Place the floor jack underneath one of the rear jack points and raise the rear corner of your E46.
7. Position a jack stand near the jack point and underneath your rear subframe and lower the floor jack until your car is resting on the jack stand. Repeat the process for the other side of your car.
