How to Replace a 1999 Mercedes Benz E430 Cabin Air Filter

1. Open the glove compartment and remove all contents.
2. Remove the two screws on the top inside panel of the glove compartment.
3. Remove the two screws from the bottom inside panel of the glove compartment.
4. Pull the glove compartment out of the dash.
5. Pull the cabin filter cover out and up to remove it.
6. Pull the top filter straight out to remove it.
7. Lift the bottom filter up and out to remove it from the filter compartment.
8. Insert the first new filter into the filter compartment. Slide it all the way back until it drops down to allow room for the additional filter.
9. Slide the second new filter into the compartment.
10. Replace the cabin filter compartment cover. Press the cover into place until it snaps closed.
11. Replace the glove compartment. Replace the two screws on the bottom inside panel of the glove compartment. Replace the two screws on the top inside panel of the glove compartment.
