How Do I Change the Oil on a C230 Mercedes Benz?

1. Jack up the car and remove the plastic undercovers with the 8 mm socket. Find the oil filter and loosen it by turning it clockwise, but do not remove it yet. No tools are needed to loosen the oil filter--it screws into (and out of) the engine block. However, you will need to grip the filter tightly with both hands and most likely it will require some force to loosen it,as gunk and dirt often get stuck in the threads.
2. Place the oil collection pan or bucket under the oil drain plug. Remove the plug with the 1/2-inch socket. The oil will now drain from the oil pan into your bucket. After the used oil has completely drained from the engine, you can remove the oil filter by just turning it clockwise with your hands until it comes out of the engine block.
3. Install the new oil filter by turning it counterclockwise into the engine block. There are three rubber rings; replace them with new ones as well.
4. Install the oil drain plug with a new washer. Tighten the plug and the oil filter about one-quarter turn past finger tight. Install the plastic undercover with the 8 mm socket. Lower the car and remove the jack.
5. Buy any oil labeled multi-viscosity, multi-grade. Fill 5.25 qts. of fresh oil into your engine by pouring it through the oil filler neck. Use a funnel to avoid spills. Start your engine and let it idle for about 20 seconds. Turn it off and measure the oil with the dipstick twice. Depending on how much used oil residue was left in the engine, you may have to add another 1/2 qt. of fresh oil until you hit the full mark on the dipstick.

How to Adjust the Headlights on a 2007 BMW 328i

1. Park your 328i directly in front of a garage door or other flat, vertical surface.
2. Measure the height from the ground to the center of the headlights. Place a horizontal strip of tape in front of each headlight on the wall at this height. Place a vertical strip of tape in front of each headlight assembly to create a cross, which will be used as a target to aim the headlights.
