How to Start a Stored Mercedes

1. Clear a path to the Mercedes if you have a cramped storage area. Make enough room so you can enter the driver's-side door without damaging the car or anything else you have in storage.
2. Engage your seat belt if you plan to drive the vehicle after you start it. Insert your key in the ignition and turn it clockwise. If the Mercedes does not start immediately, it may be a simple problem that can be fixed easily.
3. State a voice command if your Mercedes is one of the models with voice activation. Mercedes was the first car to invest in voice-recognition technology, so if you have a model produced after 1997, you may have that option.
4. Fill the tank with fresh gasoline if your Mercedes does not start after you've utilized the voice command. Your gasoline can degrade if you leave it in the tank for long periods. Use only the grade of fuel your Mercedes Benz requires to run; for example, do not use regular unleaded gas if your car is designed for premium fuel.

How to Install a Timer on an Eclipse Turbo

1. Disconnect negative battery terminal before you begin. This is done by removing the cable from the black terminal of the Eclipse's battery. Inside the car, remove the three screws from the underside of the steering column. These hold the column cover in place. Once removed, the cover will lift off, exposing the Eclipse's ignition harness.
2. Separate the Eclipse's ignition harness. It is a blue plug with a male and female end. The harness will easily unplug by hand. Insert the supplied turbo timer harness into the Eclipse's stock ignition harness. The turbo timer harness will have a matching male and female connector, so it will plug directly into the stock harness.
3. Mount your turbo timer unit in the desired location. A popular choice is atop the steering column. Fix it in place with the supplied double-sided tape, and plug it into the turbo timer wiring harness. Tuck excess harness wire into the dashboard and secure it with zip ties.
4. Run the ground wire from the turbo timer wiring harness to a grounding source. An easy choice on the Eclipse is any of the nearby frame screws drilled into the chassis. Run the ground wire over to one of these, and wind the exposed wire's end around the neck of screw. Secure excess wire with zip ties.
5. Remove the Eclipse's center console cover. This is done by first pulling up on the cup area until it unsnaps, and then doing the same for the rest of the console assembly. Once unsnapped, the plastic covering will lift easily out of place, exposing the parking break assembly.
6. Route the parking brake wire from the turbo timer assembly through the dashboard to the center console area. Splice this wire into the parking brake switch by stripping approximately .2 inches of the parking brake switch's insulation, and then wrapping the turbo timer's parking brake wire end around the exposed switch wire. Crimp the connection with wire crimps supplied in the turbo timer kit.
7. Tuck all remaining excess wiring into the dashboard and console area and secure it with zip ties. Replace center console and steering column covers by reversing the operation of removal. Replace the negative battery terminal. Start your Eclipse and ensure that the turbo timer powers on and operates fully.

How to Slim Down Your Cheeks

1. Calculate how many calories your body needs to consume each day to maintain proper function. This is called your BMR, or Basal Metabolic Rate. According to Patricia Goroway, author of 'Facial Fitness,' proper diet is mandatory to slim down your cheeks. As your body loses weight, your facial area will lose weight as well.Use the following equation to determine your BMR:Women: 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years) = BMRMen: 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in year) = BMR
2. Perform a primary cheek exercise for 60 seconds a day, every day. A primary cheek exercise will strengthen the muscles of your cheeks and slim down your face, says Reinhold Benz, author of 'Five-Minute Face-lift.' To perform a primary cheek exercise, suck in your cheeks as far as you can. Now, try to touch your nose with your tongue while keeping your cheeks sucked in. Hold this position for five seconds before releasing and repeating. Repeat this exercise for 60 seconds a day to slim down your cheek area.
3. Perform a daily chin and neck exercise, as these exercises subtly use the muscles in your cheeks. These movements will help burn fat from your cheeks and your neck line. Burning fat from your neck line tightens the skin on your face, resulting in slimmer cheeks, according to Annelise Hagen, author of 'The Yoga Face.' To perform a chin and neck exercise, lay down on a bed, flat on your back with arms and legs relaxed. Flex your neck and bring your chin to your chest and hold for 30 seconds before releasing and resting for 15 seconds. Repeat once more after the 15 second rest period to conclude the chin and neck exercise. Do this daily to slim your cheek area.
